Hi there! Welcome to Heather Hagin Events! Ever since I can remember I have been planning little parties and social events but what a lot of people don't realize is that it took YEARS for me to realize that was my passion.
To begin, I started out in Food & Beverage in 2001 and over 10 years I went from server to bartender to banquets to private parties. I did it all. I always say if there is ever an industry for young people to start, it would be F&B. You learn so much and more.
From there I entered the world of events in 2006 planning community events like 5K races and fall festivals for my University. In 2007, after I graduated from college, I moved on to marketing and advertising for Casinos. This industry is so fast paced and fun. One memorable event I assisted with was the grand opening of Hollywood Casino (I have a picture with Joan Rivers to prove it!). After 5 years in Casino advertising, I moved on to non-profit industry. I'm a helper, I love to help and you'll probably realize that pretty quick when working with me.
Over the years I had the chance to travel throughout the country planning events for the San Diego Botanic Garden, Oglethorpe University in Atlanta and The Humane Society Corporate in DC. BUT I was still missing something in my professional world and I realized quick that my passion was planning smaller social events which lead me to starting Heather Hagin Events in 2015 in DC/Maryland/Northern VA. My little family moved for the last time to North East Florida and I have now been planning events all over the Jacksonville and St. Augustine area for the past seven years. I will never look back.
